Derek joins the Order |
| Following a relaxing summer recess the members of Lawrence Council met recently. At the meeting Terry Maybury as Master was pleased to Introduce to the Order Bro. Derek Moss. Derek is a well known musician, playing the trumpet in Leyland Brass Band. |

| Around thirty five Allied Masons were present not only to witness Derek's Introduction but to witness three other members Michael Greenhalgh, Dennis Wilson and Frank Makin being admitted to the Degree of Red Cross of Babylon. Following a well worked Ceremony the Lecture was presented by Peter Schofield. |
| Before the meeting closed the Deputy District Prefect Paul Snape congratulated and thanked everyone who had taken part in both Ceremonies for the high standard of their work, he also congratulated the Director of Ceremonies John Bicknell, who at the October of Grand Council will be appointed as a Grand Steward. He also wished the Master Terry Maybury well in his forthcoming appointment as Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler in the Order of Secret Monitor. |
| Following the meeting the members and guests enjoyed a substantial Buffet followed by Apple Pie and Cream. |
